Like emcee Dave Mercer said at the Bassmaster Classic weigh-in, this is the Classic that has a cherry on top! That’s right, the winner of the 50th Bassmaster Classic is Hank Cherry, Jr. Believe it or not, Hank was gracious enough to give us a half-hour of his precious time within less than 20 hours of hoisting the first-place trophy! What a great guy he is! He tells us all about his wire-to-wire victory on Lake Guntersville. You won’t believe what he is doing with some of his $300,000 in winnings. This is a great interview.
Dan Johnston from St. Croix helps wrap up the Classic for us.
Shannon O’Quinn from the Tennessee Valley Authority joins us to talk about how the TVA manages Guntersville and other waterways in the Southeast.

Kristine Fischer is one heck of a great fisherman. She is the top star in the rapidly-growing world of kayak fishing. She fishes over 20 tournaments a year and always seems to do well. Her true passion is fishing for giant muskies from a kayak. Unbelievable! In addition, Kristine Fischer is a very intelligent and well-rounded individual who has a lot of interesting things to say. Give her a listen!
Eric Stark joins us to talk kayaks and his business, Chi-Yak adventures.
Dan Johnston from St. Croix is with us to talk about how the Bassmaster Classic impacts our sport.

The 2020 Bassmaster Classic is coming to Lake Guntersville in Birmingham, Alabama the weekend of March 6, 7 and 8. Our lead guest is the man we think may have the best shot of taking home the gold at the Classic – he is Paul Mueller. Paul is riding a great streak right now, with an Elite victory late last season and a first-place finish in the first 2020 Elite event at Florida’s St. John’s River. The last time the Bassmaster Classic was held on Lake Guntersville, Paul Mueller finished second to Randy Howell. Well, Randy isn’t fishing this year’s Classic, but Paul Mueller is. We think Paul has a great shot at winning the 2020 Bassmaster Classic. Don’t you?
John Knight from USA Bass brings us up to date on what this incredible organization has on its schedule for 2020. They are really busy and hopefully set to bring home more gold for Team USA.
Dan Johnston from St. Croix talks about what he thinks are the biggest innovations in the fishing industry to come out in the past few years.

Big man chasing big fish with big teeth! That says it all. He is Tony Grant, owner of Musky Hunter Magazine, tournament winner, guide, speaker, educator and expo owner. We think that Tony is right at the top of the list when you start talking about people who really know their stuff when you are discussing the legendary “fish of ten thousand casts.
Michael Brand is here to invite you to become Certified Angling Instructors for the Boy Scouts of America. Spring fishing is right around the corner. Get ready for it with Dan Johnston from St. Croix.

Does this guy love to fish, or what? We’re not sure we’ve ever had a guest on with us who is always so jacked to go fishing. Open water or on the ice, Brian “Bro” Brosdahl catches them all. This interview takes us places we have never been before. We talk whitefish, tulibees, eelpout and even rock bass! WE really had a ball chatting with our friend Bro. Give it a listen, please.
Children’s author, Bob Allen, joins us to talk about his new book that chronicles the latest adventures of Walter the Wily Walleye. This time Walter is under the ice. Dan Johnston from St. Croix talks about the last ice of the season.
