Happy New Year to everyone! This week’s featured guest is Rhodney Honeycutt who has written a new book called “Long Guns & Great Fishing Runs.” He started fishing professional bass tournaments at a very young age, with his father, Hall of Fame fisherman, Blake Honeycutt. Through the years, Rhodney has been fishing buddies with legends like Ray Scott, Johnny Morris, Forrest Wood, Tom Mann, Bill Dance and Roland Martin. Rhodney Honeycutt has lived a life that most of us would trade anything we owned to have lived. It’s a great book and Rhodney is a great guy who is donating 25% of the profits of the book’s sales to the Youth & Conservation Programs of both the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame and the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club. Please enjoy a good interview with a true fishing legend.
What is Dan Johnston from St. Croix doing to ring in the New Year? Talking fishing with Dave Kranz, of course!
Gene Gilliland is the B.A.S.S. National Conservation Director. Only a top conservation maven could have written a book titled, “Keeping Bass Alive, a Guidebook for Tournament Anglers and Organizers.” Gene gives us a recap of conservation efforts for 2022.
