Some guys go the extra mile to accommodate their fans and the media. Maryland’s Bryan Schmitt is one of those pro anglers. He graciously gave us this interview while practicing for an important tournament, while he was stuck under a marina canopy in a driving rainstorm. How cool is that? This young man is really good. In just his second season on the Elite Series, Bryan had three Top 10s, including his victory at the 2021 Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Lake Champlain. His second Elite victory just occurred on the Mississippi River out of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. In addition to being one of the busiest fishermen in pro bass fishing, he spends his free time guiding for saltwater stripers on the Potomac River. Give Bryan Schmitt a listen, if you will.
Dan Johnston from St. Croix joins us to talk some more about fall fishing. Is this the best time of the year to fish? What exactly is the “master plan?” Fishing can be more complicated than some people think!
Mike Leonard, Vice President Government Affairs at American Sportfishing Association joins us to talk about some important things his group is working on. This is important stuff and we thank them for their constant efforts.
