Yippee Ki Yay! That’s the first time any fishing show has used that term, we are pretty sure! Our guest is Dakota Ebare. He’s from Texas, by way of Louisiana. He started out as a bull rider and a bull fighter in the rodeo world. He came to his senses and got into big-time professional fishing. He certainly made the right choice because Dakota Ebare is currently setting the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour on fire. Dakota’s tournament schedule is non-stop and he is one of the hardest workers in bass fishing. Ebare broke the MLF record when he landed a 7-pound, 10-ounce smallmouth during the Championship Round on Cayuga Lake in New York. We bet that John Wayne never caught one that big! Listen to this young cowboy tell his story!
Dan Johnston from St. Croix joins us to talk about fall fishing. Is this the best time of the year to fish? Dan Johnston presents a pretty compelling argument to back that theory up!
Michigan’s Michelle Jalaba won the big ICAST Cup bass tournament at the ICAST convention in Orlando in July. She will be representing our country for U.S.A. Bass at the huge upcoming world championship event. We are happy to have her on the show for the first time.
