He’s the Champion! “Big Fish” Bobby Lane just won the big trophy and a check for $300,000 at the Major League Fishing Redcrest Championship at Grand Lake of the Cherokees in Tulsa, Oklahoma! It was the most incredibly exciting finish to a pro bass fishing tournament that ever occurred. With only 2-minutes and 45-seconds left in the tournament, Lane caught a fish that had to be weighed three times and finally scored exactly two-pounds on the scale. It was barely legal but big enough to allow Bobby Lane to claim a victory. What drama! Lane’s father called him “Bobby Humble” when he was growing up and the name still fits him. Listen to a great fisherman and one of the nicest guys in the sport tell his story!
