We have stated that all of the changes in the world of competitive bass fishing tournaments would serve to create new stars in the sport. I think this week’s featured guest proves that point. Nation Champion who proved he belongs in the big leagues of pro fishing by winning $100,000 in a spotted bass shootout on Georgia’s Lake Lanier. Mueller offers some great tips and insights into fishing for bass and anyone who listens will come away a better angler for listening to Paul Mueller. Dan Johnston form St. Croix lends his thoughts on the Bassmaster Classic which is just around the corner. Darren Amundson tells us about his app, “Fish Donkey,” which may well revolutionize tournaments.

Our main guest is one of the best walleye fishermen on the planet. How can we make that claim? Get this! In 2002, fishing in a tournament on Lake Erie, Ted Takasaki caught a five-fish limit that weighed 53.2-pounds! It’s the heaviest bag limit in walleye tournament history! It averages out to be an incredible 10.6-pounds per fish. That is five “fish of a lifetime” that were all caught in one day! Ted gives up some secrets to make us all better walleye fishermen.
Greg Karch from Learn 2 Fish With Us joins us to explain how his organization stages clinics and seminars to improve the skills of fishermen of all ages.
Dan Johnston from St. Croix joins us to talk about getting ready for spring fishing. We can’t wait for spring to get here!
